Well, I don’t think there’s going to be Play of the Week 5 anytime soon, as people are not sending demos.
P.S. How do you record yourself playing?
Actually people ARE sending demos but I had a hell of a week and it was hard for me to find the time to do the potw (which by the way takes me a whole afternoon).

How do you record yourself playing?
Yes It’s because of my job, school and other stuff (family, gf)
To record myself I just record the demo and then when I watch it I just type \video in the console. It gets weird but the video will come up just perfect.
I’d like to give thanks to Engine about the above tip. I never knew how to turn demos into videos. His tip works flawlessly (on linux too!). Just drop down console while watching a demo and type /video. Or, you could just bind a key.
Like Engine said: the fps becomes choppy and your computer will act like it’s barely chugging along. But when it’s over it will come out perfect. Now, if only I had something to send into play of the week…
Tangentially, we’ve got a lot of help here at daily nade (it seems – Don, Engine, Tarquin, Dragoonslayer, Lebbra, and everyone else who contributes either via comments or articles). But, I do think that it is obvious that Engine puts a lot of effort into everything and I’d like to thank him for that. Also, if you’re busy, start delegating the work more, dude!
Finally, what video editor do you use to dub your voice into the play of the week videos? You’re on a mac, so I’m assuming iMovie or Final Cut Pro.
