Urban Terror 4.2 Leaked Features Zombies – Download it now

An early build of Urban Terror 4.2 has been successfully leaked from the Frozen Sand’s studios. Surprisingly enough it features a co-op multiplayer mode against zombies. My guess is that they are trying to emulate the success of the Left 4 Dead franchise. You can download the game right here. Our thoughts about it will be published in the next few hours.

I just tested this 4.2 beta release.
My impression is that it is not a good idea to introduce the BFG9000 in the weapon list (even if it take out four slots!!) because this weapon is a bit overpowered for UrT.

If you move all your custom maps out of the q3ut4 folder they crash very, very rarely.
I made a batch file to remove custom maps whenever i want to play with bots and then replace them when i want to play online

I’ve always thought it only matters what map you actually *play*
Well the map you play matters too but only because bot behaviours are only built into certain maps.
Moving custom maps isn’t a guaranteed fix but from what I’ve read it helps a lot of people and I found it made a massive difference for me too.
